I wasn’t too sure what to expect from this service. The stigma surrounding cannabis as a recreational gateway drug is well known, so I had some trepidation as to to how it would impact my life. I’m a family man who suffers with acute sciatica on a daily basis. Some days are worse than others and trying to stay positive during a flare up of my condition is always a challenge. I’ve had everything from epidurals, facet joint injections, daily opioid pain killers that make me Feel unwell and I try to stretch and exercise regularly but my mood is always short and low. Since I started to liaise with Carpathia clinic I was immediately impressed by the level of professional one to one care and genuine empathy for my plight. They have the ability to cater to my specific problem and work with me regards to dosing, mixing and matching oils and plant to find the right balance. I wanted to stay lucid during the day and relaxed in the afternoon and evening, so after the first couple of weeks after some trial and error (I was far too medicated the first night and caught me off guard) I reduced the amount by more than four times the recommended dose. I’m able to converse with people easily. I have no feelings of paranoia or edginess, quite the opposite, my mood is uplifted by a great degree. I’m happier, patient with difficult situations, much more thoughtful with family. I’ve noticed the improvement in my mood and my mobility as has my family. I feel that cannabis deflects my pain by keeping my mind more active. Instead of concentrating on my pain I’m thinking more deeply about other things. Im far more active around the house and after nearly three months I feel like the combination of oil and plant are having a real effect on my well being in a positive and constructive way. I must point out that for the last two weeks I’ve only been using the oil twice a day with a high cbd 20% low thc 1% just to see if I’m able to stop taking plant when I want and it was an easy thing to do. No withdrawals or mood swings. I think it’s important to try and play around with the doses to suit your lifestyle. Start off really low and gradually increase it if you need to. Everyone’s pain is different and doses will need to be adjusted accordingly but the doctors at Carpathia will 100% work it out with you and tailor it to your lifestyle. So far I’ve had a really positive experience and I’m excited to see how this magical plant will help me long term.

There was a mistake on prescription, this was solved and communicated efficiently and clearly which was excellent service. Then I needed to make a different change myself to it, and I still received amazing service, very happy with the whole team!

Moving to Carpathia from TMCC has been the best choice I've made, the doctors are more knowledgeable about cannabis and how terpenes work and actually take time when in an appointment to see how I'm progressing and how my medication is reacting with me. Also the patient liason officer is very compassionate and knowledgeable when it comes to cannabis, a great clinic to be with!

I was quite sceptical and anxious at first about trying medical cannabis for my condition, which has been in constant flare-up for nearly a year, but I have been blown away by the results.
